Hypnotherapy is a very successful method of weight management. Managing weight can be difficult for a number of reasons. If you’re busy multitasking your work or family responsibilities and feel like you don’t know how to regain control of your weight, hypnotherapy might be something you want to consider. Like most weight management therapies or treatments, hypnotherapy is not guaranteed to help you lose weight or gain weight. However, this type of practice has seen great levels of success despite age and gender. 


How does it work? 


Each hypnotherapist has a unique approach to each session, however; you can expect the session to begin with an explanation of what they plan to speak with you about and any goals and expectations you may have. The process of weight management hypnotherapy will help uncover where any tendencies to under or over-eat stem from and how these thought processes can be reformed. Your therapist will call attention to positive eating and exercise habits that may help you reach your goals. This might be done through a series of word and phrase repetition along with visualisation exercises to help you envision the goals you hope to achieve.

Hypnotherapy restores the confidence you need in your own ability to lose weight. Our clients often come to us with a want to lose weight but without the belief that they can. 


Hypnotherapy may not be the first thing to spring to mind when thinking about methods of weight management, but it has become more and more popular over the past several years.
